| Country Mice playgroup is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) a national organisation that supplies the pre-school with its constitution and other guidance and support. The playgroup receives support from the Early Year's Development and Childcare Partnership (EYDCP) We are managed by a voluntary committee of parents, and staffed by a team of experienced and qualified childcare practitioners. The experiences and opportunities available to the kids will be similar to those offered during term time but there will be a focus on outdoor adventure. | Pre-School caters for a mixed age group (from 2yrs 4mths) while Pre-School Plus provides more structured activities aimed at forming a basis for the transition to infant school. Both groups meet within the Village Hall, with Pre-School occupying the bigger hall and Pre-School Plus in the smaller one.
